Seeing a family member . . . In the Movies

While I did host a local cable access show about post-high-school college and career options when I was a teenager many years ago, I never did get to live out my Hollywood dreams of being on the big screen. They did film a movie at my high school where I got to be an extra, but it never got released (yet, somehow you can watch it on YouTube).
And, as far as I know, no member of my family has ever been in a movie. Until this year.
Our son was fortunate to be part of the cast of a new short film, Tell-By Date, which has screened at nearly two dozen film festivals around the country (and the world), but finally made it's way to NYC in October.
The whole family had a great time watching the film on the big screen at a real movie theater. And, we all got to walk the red carpet!
I may never get my EGOT, but I'm glad I GOT the chance to see my E - and before I turned 50!
